After a long and distinguished career聽overseeing and managing large-scale planning,聽design聽and construction projects worldwide, Tom Robson, chief operating officer for global design聽architecture, engineering and planning聽firm HOK, has announced his retirement. Robson joined HOK in 1994聽through the company鈥檚聽merger with CRSS. He then聽spent聽17 years as management principal of聽HOK鈥檚聽Houston office and Texas region. He was named the firm鈥檚 chief operating officer聽in 2011, and聽is a member of HOK鈥檚 executive committee, board of directors and management board. His resume includes聽megaprojects such as the George鈥疕.鈥疻.鈥疊ush Presidential Library, Hamad International Airport, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and Los鈥疉ngeles General Medical Center.
